CNSA  CONFERENCES

The CNSA conferences are a fun and exciting way to bring nursing students together to discuss issues, hear educational speakers, participate in workshops and enjoy social events!

THE REGIONAL

CONFERENCE

THE NATIONAL

CONFERENCE

The conference brings together nursing students from the schools in one region. The 5 regions are Atlantic (Newfoundland and Labrador, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia and Nunavut), Quebec, Ontario (That’s us!), Prairie (Manitoba and Saskatchewan) and Western (Alberta, British Columbia, Yukon and Northwest Territories). Each region hosts their own conference and the date of the regional conference varies, as does the school hosting it. It is typically a smaller, 2-3 day event with speakers, workshops and social events.

The conference brings together nursing students from all of Canada. The National conference location changes every year (different schools will host). It is a 1 week event, typically at the end of January, filled with different presentations, workshops, social events, and meetings.

There was a social event every night; for example a bar crawl, club night, skating, a magic show, and a formal banquet on the final night.

CONFERENCE FEES

For both conferences, the majority of expenses are covered by UNSA and sponsorships! Chosen applicants typically only pay a small amount as a registration fee, which ranges from approximately 100$-300$, depending on their position. Travel, accommodation and meals are all included!

There are many travel awards available that can help cover this fee !
